Looking at my tank tonight I saw the temp registered 85 on the controller, but the water didint feel that warm, I have it set to stay at 80. So I unluged my heater from the cntroller and pluged it into a regular outlet to see what temp it said the tank was, it said 75, not good. So i tired to clean the temp probe on the controler , now it says the temp is 105 even thow it is now 76 and climbing to 80. Do these probes go bad after time, or is it th controller?
If its the probe can I get a new one, and what is the expected usability time of the probe?
