Hello eveyone,
I been reading RC for some time now. But this is my first post!
I have learned a lot and now I am ready to setup my 135gal tank. I have already started building the stand and canopy.
I need help pumbing my over flows and need suggestions on building the sump tank.
below is the tank I'll be using. It is a glass tank. I have already drilled the overflow holes at the bottom of the tank. I will post a video and pictures of how I did it.
Here is the tank I will be working with. Old fresh water tank I had.

Here are some pictures I took while building the stand and canopy.
mostly 2x4s for the frame.

added the sides and front skin. (3/4 oak plywood)
also started on the canopy. Not much of a frame in building the canopy, just 3/4 plywood glued and stapled with 1.5" brad nailes.

Nice job. Seems you've done your homework and you get an A if I read your schematics correctly. Only recommendation I'd have is to have your overflow in the center. Having it off center will block that back return line (blue one). Maybe equalize your CL to 2 or 4 outlets balanced amount on each side of the overflow. I cant really tell if the tank is on a wall or a room divider thought. If room divider I'd put the overflow on one end of the tank to help with a cleaner look.

the tank is against a wall, and is not used to divide a room. The reason I didn't put the overflow in the center, is because there is a middle brace, about 26" wide, 1/2" glass. There is a total of 4, 1" inch bulkheads at the bottom (2 on each side). I will be using 2 for the over flow box, and 2 for the CL. Would I be able to run all the CL outlets, on just one 1" intake?
any suggestions on what pump to use?
