to keep small fish from getting stuck to my 6200's. I noticed my baby Ocean Surgeon was stuck to one this afternoon when the lights came on. He's pretty beat up but might pull through. :(
I'm sure someone is going to suggest turning them down, but I want them full blast running across the back of the rock. They are doing an amazing job of keeping the rock dust free back there. Any other suggestions would be welcome!
Frohe Weihnachten!

Hi Mike,
In general with the exception of puffers I would not expect this to be a common problem with a fish in good health. Especially a surgeon fish as they generally come from very strong currents. I think the fish must be weakened from some stress or disease.

Yeah, those thoughts came to mind as well, so I got the brainy idea of putting him down in the sump so I could keep an eye on him in the calm water. Well, he managed to make his way through the sponge I put on the return pipe and into my return pump. What a mess... Thank God for True Union ball valves. ;)

Have a good Christmas, Mike. I am waiting for my nieces to come over for dinner, otherwise totally bored, my dad fell asleep on the couch.
