I was wondering if it'd be ok to keep a lion fish in a 20gln tank with a mantis? My SO said it'd either kill the mantis or be killed by the mantis. also I wasn't sure if you could get a lionfish that would stay small enough for a 20gln tank?

thank you for clearing that one up or me..I was wondering about it.
I guess you're right. but I really want a lionfish but SO says not in his tank(75gln), so I just thought maybe I'd get lucky and find one I could raise in a 20gln. Oh well, maybe someday:confused:

If you really want it than you could buy a baby and keep it for may be at max a full year but than you would have to get it into a bigger tank
