I'm not sure if there is another thread out there in this forum. I tried doing a search but I'm not a premium member so theres been no luck.
Please post all your shots of your Angelfish here. Big, small, adult, juvinille... they are all great fish.
So I'll start with mine. 10" Blueface thats been with me for quite some time. Its a truley magnificent fish. It is the center piece of my tank. I grunts so loud I can hear it from the other room.

I look forward to seeing more shots in the future! Happy reefing.

Please forgive the blurry picture, I'm no photographer. Here's my Potter's, I really miss this little guy. He developed a nasty infection I just couldn't cure (a wound in his side that just kept growing and getting deeper, antibiotics in the QT and his food didn't touch it) and died soon after I brought him home. I'm hoping to get another at some point and try again.

You may get away with it. Mine picks at my brain coral. They eat these in the wild that never surprised me. But does not bother my leather, frogspawn. I think your zoos would become a meal but every fish is different.

Maro, the goldflake has been awesome. I've had him going on 2 years now. It eats everything offered and has never shown any signs of disease. It is the biggest fish in my tank, but never shows any aggression to the others. It will however, chase the flame angel out of his territory, but lets the tang or butterfly in for the night. I think the biggest issue with them is getting a good one to start with. I'd avoid the real small juvies or large adults, these may have problems with feeding. I'd say the ideal size to buy one is 3-5 inches.

Heres my baby i'l have a majestic and a blueface in there soon.
Depends on how the Emp takes its new roomates.
He is not aggresive with any fish so far, But he has taken a liking to my blue zoa's. Oh well he's worth a few blue zoa's.
He wouldent eat one day and i seen his belly was nice and fat.
I looked right at the zoa's and sure enough he pummled 2 small zoa colonys. It couldent be the brown one's. The blues must look like candy to him. I made an acrilic box to set on top of the zoa's till i get him eating only prepaired foods.

Here's one you don't see very often - Yellowtail Angel. This is a juvenile, a little over 3 inches. The photo doesn't do him justice. He also has a bright yellow stripe that runs midline from the leading edge of his dorsal, down his nape to his mouth. Very active fish.

Yes he is still in his juvi colors. He has put on some major size since I had him in the tank. I would suggest you get one that is smaller then any other angel in the tank. If he is going to be your first angel in the tank don't worry about the size.

You may have non or very little aggression toward each other. I found the best way was to make sure the angels you are adding are not the same size. I have a juvi queen in the tank that cleans my larger angels, No aggression at all when I added him in the tank. My majestic, French, and Emp are a different story. Just try to mismatch the size on introduction to the display.

Not sure if you are talking to me or not? If so I have leathers, frogspawn, mushrooms, Brains and a very large Heteractis magnifica anemone.
I want to add some sps in the near future. If you feed your fish enough of the right foods they will not nip or eat corals. T o give you an example. When I added my Emp, He went after my brain and almost ate the whole thing in less then a day. After being in the tank for a few days and getting him foods that I feed the other fish. He stopped nipping on the coral and has never touched it since.

This is an awesome thread - you guys have some beautiful angels!
OK This picture is terrible, but I'm still very proud of my mating flames. This is the male nuzzling the female's reproductive area which is the latter part of courting.

Hi Nick,
The imperator hasn't appeared to touch anything since I added a large bushel of nori :) He nips at it all the time.
The Regal is nipping at the rocks (pods?) But he hasn't taken any flake or brine yet. I'm getting some frozen Formula II tomorrow and will try your raw clam or mussels trick.
They are all very active and getting along well.

Glad the nori trick is working for you. Just keep it in there or he might go nipping again.
The clam on the half shell should work for the regal. if not try a mussel...
if that doesnt work there was another trick, but i forgot. Read the "regal angel thread" in the reef fish forum if the above trick doesnt work...
Glad everything is working out.

One of our LFS gets them in fairly regular. I took it right out of the shipping box to avoid as little stress as possible. All outward signs seem to prove him to be a healthy specimen.

what type of rock is that, haitian? where did you get it?
I have had the Grey Poma in for only two days and he has already taken a chunk out of a welsophilia that I already have. I won't give up yet maybe he will stop if not then I will have to try something else.

Yes that is correct. I got it from my LFS. I hand picked every piece and cleaned them all by hand. It came in not cured what allot of work that was.
Here is a pic of the grey poma
