I tried to search but it is not working at this time. I wanted to know if someone could do the search for me or give me some info on compatibility. I will be using the X10s with two icecap MH 250w ballsts. TIA

i believe the problems with interference were with the 400 watt ballasts. I have not heard of problems with the 250 watters. I had one at one time and it was fine no problems.

I haven't noticed any issues with the ballasts themselves other than keeping the cords and controller away from it- I had some interference issues but as soon as I moved it farther away from the cords everything was fine- even then the x10 part worked fine it just messed with the temp and ORP reading a little. I currently use 4 250w ice cap MH ballasts.

When u say farther away, how far do u mean? A couple of feet?

It wasn't a few feet but you will be able to tell- as the probe wires or controller get closer to the ballast or lighting power cable you will see some immediate fluxuations in the reading. I think I had to make sure mine were about 1 foot away from any of the lighting equipment.

i have a AC11 with 2 icecap 250mh and icecap vho, no problems whats so ever. I do however mount my ballast in my canopy hiigh up. I only did that for heat reasons not cause of interfierance but who knows maybe that was the reason why i never had a problem.

My 250 Icecaps and 660 are mounted on the back of the canopy. The powercords go to one side of the tank and the ACII is on the other. No issues yet with the setup. And running them on X-10's.

First off, what x10 products did you get? Did you get teh control module that connects via phone line into the AC? Second, i would check if you named them all correctly and make sure the on the x10 switch where you turn the little nob that the side with the mark is pointing to the proper letter or number. I made that mistake and my vho didnt come on. third post all your setting on here so we know if its set up right. It all might seem like a pain in the A22 but its well worth it once all set and done. After your dont youll wonder how you ever lived without one.

I am not sure what it was, but I unplugged everything then plugged it back in and now everything seems to be working fine. I hope it stays this way or i might have to buy a DC8. Thanks for all of your help.
