If money wasn't an object and all speakers were available, who would you most like to see speak at the next club meeting? Second, what would you like s/he to talk about?

There will be many regular speakers at the April WMC in Sac as well as a few new ones.
Anyone else we should think to invite to our club to speak?

has the group had the pleasure to listen to rich ross aka lefty/righty aka cuttle pimp? he is a great speaker! very entertaining! maybe jim aka bookfish when he's on the mainland. he could share his experiences from the tonga project. even better would to have them both the same day.

Hey, good idea. I remember Lefty got one of the replisant (spelling) cuttle fish several months ago and wonder if he has a prez around it. And, of course, Jim prolly has lots to tell about his extended 'vacation'. Thanks.

Rich (Mars Prez) did a great presentation about his diving in the Philipines. Great for us reefers and non-reefers alike. Both my GF and her daughter are looking forward to Rich's next presentation.
Mike Paletta aslo did a great talk at the MARS meeting. I woudln't mind hearing that one again.
Barry from Clams Direct also did a great job speaking.
I would love to hear about Jesus and Scott's tank. I 'd like to see see a technical talk about their tanks, what they dose, and so on. I only wish my tank could look 1/10 a nice as theirs!

I think also is a topic on pest control. There's hell of alot of stuff going around the aquaria world such as nudi's, flatworms and alot more stuff. If we could find a good knowlegeable(sp) person that very familiar with this topic would be great.

Not really a speaker but an open forum. I will like to dicuss what works in people tank. For an example, some people use tap water and nothing has died. Some have more fish then what is recommended but everything looks healthy.

Jesus - good idea and will look into getting someone who can talk authoritatively about...well...bugs in the marine aquarium.
Lak - We could always do a 'round table' discussion about one or all the topics you mentioned.
Minh - Great idea about asking Rich out to talk about his dive trip to Philipines. And if you look'n for more frags just come by sometime. VBG. I hear Tim's tank is _really_ nice. Maybe a road-trip to SAC is in order? How about showing some pics of your tank?

Mine's not exactly a speaker suggestion. How about a 'new to saltwater' meeting, could be a BOD presentation with explantion of some of the basics then roundtable Q&A? Even the more experienced could be encouraged to attend to join the discussion and help out the newbies.

Thanks Dan. We are definitely going to do a "new to saltwater" meeting this year. There will probably be a slideshow (or video) and then round table Q&A afterwards. Your experience and input would be appreciated for sure!
