My Yellow Tang is nipping the Zoanthids

I don't know why suddenly my yellow tang start to nipping the zoos. I really mad about that. I'm think to drop the Yellow tang in the sump. What can I do?

I had a purple that started to nip my clam mantles and was told once they get the taste for mantles and polyps they won't lose it, I sold him. I don't think there will be anything you can do less removal from the tank with zoas.

My yellow cleans up any dead or dieing polyps but leaves the healthy ones alone.

Had the same problem with my yellow tang. Began to eat some new colorful zoos. He stopped after a day or so and has not bothered them since. Not sure if it was the zoos or some algea next to the zoos that he was intrested in. He was real close to being banished but considering he was in the tank for six years plus i gave him some extra time to settle down.
