How to calibrate hydrometer/refractometer at 1.026 instead of 1.000? I know there was an article that said how to do this, but I can't find it. Does anyone know how or do you have a link to the article?

never mind, I found it: http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2004-06/rhf/index.php
You would want to do this because this is were it matters. If you calibrate a measuring device at one point, all you really know is that one point. If you calibrate it at two points, then you can have a fair ammount of certanty that it is accurate between those two points (especially if it is a linear scale and a linear type of device such as a hydrometer), and even past those two points.
However, if you don't do that, if you only have one calibration point, every other point could be horribly off.
