I don't want to freak you out but that don't look good. Sure its natural for them to shrink, but it seems that he is really exposing his mouth. Did you by chance feed him anything soaked in Zelco?
not selcon but the other products out there used to enrich fish foods can sometimes irritate Anem's. other than that I would just hope for the best.

also, what location is he in (the magnifica) near strong flow, low in tank, etc.

from what I can remember they like strong light and strong flow. I would read the anenome FAQ quickly again about requirements.

good luck
FWIW, I would get rid of that Cleaner shrimp, they harass more anem's than anything else, plus they steal food.

He's in a good strong flow about mid depth (12"),
I soak my food in Garlic guard and Zoe, his tentacles are still sticking to the food being offered the cleaner,s dont normally go near its the peps that try to steal his food but he normally see's them off.

i was really pleased with the way he was doing and the way the clowns took to him and looked after him etc. i'll be gutted if he dies.

He's still trying to eat, he has a piece of Krill at the moment about half way in so there is a little glimmer of hope yet

Is it there is not enough light?

What lighting do you have? 150 watts?

Is it directly under the halide?

Peppermint shrimp will pick on larger anemones.

Ive seen this happen to a LTA only time can tell if it is changing water and expelling waste, that LTA recoveredd in a few hours but once you see the anemone decompsoing get a cup and a net and get him out of that tank ASAP!

EDIT: The LTA I seen like this reacted like this because my friend had just added Ph buffer and wasnt mixed real well and got all over tha anemone and just shrunk immediatley and mouth somewhat exposed recovered in about a day.

I wouldn't attempt feeding him for a couple days until he looks better and I would skip the Zoe just for the heck of it the next couple of feedings.

i dont know what he was up to but he looks better i'll still be going ahead with the water change as the NO3 was a little to high for me

My BTA has done this several times. The first time, it's mouth was so wide open and just flapping in the flow I thought it had died. Not being sure, I left it and about 6 hours later looked better than I had ever seen. They are all unique and some have quirky behaviors.
