Protien skimmer troubles

I have a berlin tubro protien skimmer and i am having trouble with it. The flow of water though it is not continuous..it kind of studders and i am not getting the amount of "crap" in the "crap collector" as i did before this problem started... i took the whole thing appart and cleaned it ..the hoses the air tubes the pump the skimmer itself..everything..and still not running like it did when i first got it a few months ago.....any suggestions

it might be getting too much air. put an airvalve on it and see what happens.

there is an adjustment on the pump itself for the air should i turn it down? or is a air valve a whole nother story

are the skimmer outputs restricted?

nope cleaned the out puts too...flowing free....
