I am upgrading to a 125 very shortly w/ a 55 gallon sump under the stand. The wall i am putting it against is a load bearing wall and this wall runs perpendicular to the floor joists. The load bearing wall is supported in the basement by a steel beam that runs the length of the house and is held up by floor jacks. Seeing as how i will be no more than 3 feet total away from the supported wall and I will be crossing 3 or 4 of the joists do i need to add additional floor jacks out from the current support?

I think you should be fine. Your set-up shouldn't be any heavier than a big waterbed. My largest reef has about 175 total gallons, and I haven't had any problems.

you should be alright running across beams, when you run with beams its more of a chance to bow the floors, just as a tip make sure the tank is level before adding the water:)

no you will be fine because the weight will be spread over the joist over a 4 or 6 foot area.

Ok cool. I was hoping not to have to buy anymore floor jacks. Thanks for your responses.
