I was lucky enough to come across a baby wennerae at a local fish store. It's about 1" - 1 1/2" long. I gave it a small piece of silverside and it accepted it but, I was wondering what you thought I should give it. I also through in a couple of small hermit crabs and a couple of small snails. They however are bigger than he is......

I feed my N., wenn Krill, Silversides, Mysis (I feed his tank mysis and he picks them off).
I would look for Bumble bee snails, as they will not be bigger than your mantis. It is important for your mantis to get some live food to keep its raptoral appendages in good shape.

some very small hermit crabs are your best bet so he has something to whack on. silversides are great for regular feedings but make sure he has a snail to beat up maybe 2x a week or so.
