I have no idea what is it,,, looks like a sum coral but I not sure.

I could be wrong, but they look like "cup corals" that hitch hike on gulf live rock.

Nice looking little colony you have there :)

looks like 'hidden cup corals'm not sure of scientific name.

no is not a cup coral this coral was under no light for more that a year cup coral need light this guys don't thanks anyway ...

I think it is a cup coral due to the hard structure, I have seen them in my tank as well. I have never seen them that close cause they stay on the dark side.

I have cup corals. That is what they are. They aren't photosynthetic. Try googling some pics.

The last picture you posted is a pagoda..aka cup coral...turbinaria is the scientific name.The coral in the first pics is commonly called hidden cup coral,and comes in as a hitchiker on LR.As stated it does'nt require high lighting,closer to a hydroid I think.

I'm not an expert, but it looks like Phyllangia americana. I found it by googling "hidden cup coral". Its an LPS. Good to have. Mine have recently started to spread since I've started target feeding them mysis.

I have some of those also but didn't know what they were.Do they stay clear or will they color up?

They are kind of like clear sun polyps. I've had them for years and they have never added any color.

that is what I was thinking a clear sun polyps :D but not anymore is a cup coral :hammer:

Phyllangia americana, People are always posting anyone have any Atlantic hard corals. Well it looks like you have some. I see them under the bridges in the Florida Keys.

Here is one that has grown into a colony from my LR. I feed it a piece of Krill about once a month.
