hi,

have seen c-siphop and "quiet one" which caught my eye as tank is in my living room>

the quiet one comes in single tube 600 gph and dual 1200 gph.

maybe dual is safer so if one loses siphon there is backup?

can flow be reduced? my tank is 75 gallons.

The overflow will only flow thru it what your return pump can supply up to it's max flow. However, you must flow enough water so the flow will keep bubbles from accumulating in the siphon tube/tubes.
As an example I use (2) 1100gph overflows in my reef tank but my Dart pump is restricted by a gate valve on it's output. The Dart will flow more water than the 2 overflows can handle.

Go with a single U Tube overflow for a 75G. Something like a Mag5 for the return pump. Stay away from the c-siphon type overflows.

Yeah. I like overflows than work by laws of physics and dont need an aqualifter. ;)
