yeah I use that, just wondering since my guess would be the epoxy is stronger.

I know what your saying, but the amount of grief that I have with trying to stick water discharging frags to slimy millput (epoxy) is a nightmare. Many a time have i thought that frag is stuck on that rock nice and fast, only to add it to the tank and it gets blown away. Super gel, not a problem.

What type of 2 part epoxy "putty" are you using? I have found that the Marine Epoxy sold by O.S.H. isn't nearly as sticky as the Aquamend from H.D. I have tried both and the Aquamend works 200% better than the other brands. Just my $.02 worth.

yes, there will be a bit of tissue die off due to the reaction during curing but damage will be minimal. you can also use superglue
