I have no idea regarding carpets, but mine never bothered my BTA but the Clowns didn't trust him. The Clarkii would let all the other fish swim close but they especially tried to keep the CBB away.
Clowns would know what fish to keep away from a host?
What if the clowns are TB? I would understand a wild caught clown protecting the anemone from the CBB because it would have seen it sometime in the wild?
I want to get a CBB for my 110g and I have 4 RBTA's will he bother them? All 4 anemones are tooken care of my two true percs

Sam, I had at various times 8 to 12 RBTA's. My clowns didn't protect them all, therefore, my CBB did not bother my roses.
Sweet. Im gettin one!
Thanks
Sam
