Hi,
What is the best way to remove salt deposits from my wooden stand?
Thanks.

I know I'll get a lot of crap for this, but it works for me...
I spray Pledge on a rag (away from the tank) and wipe 'er down. Just don't get any ine the water or on anything that touches the water.

I ended up gently scraping the salt crystals from the wood, wiping it with water, and ended by wiping it with Orange Glo that I had sprayed onto a rag. It took a couple of hours but it looks good as new.
