Has anyone tried using small mirrors outside their tank to confirm that their Banggai is a male?
I have heard that the minute you put another male in,the established male will attack.
May save the lives of a few fish :)
Also,
Can anyone describe the actions of two Banggai's as they are pairing? Subtle dance or more aggressive dancing. Mine seem to be doing a more aggressive dance than what my clowns used to do but there is no chasing, nipping, etc. They continue to stay within a few inches of each other.
I believe mine are now approx 6 months old. I got them off of a fellow reefer that breeds these locally so I am pretty sure of the age.
Thanks,
Chuck
