breeding misbarr's??

I have a pair of Maroon Clowns that are breeding, I wanted to try and raise the offspring. The female is a mis-barr. She only has the start of stripes on upper and lower body, down the side she is a solid Maroon. Do you think the chance of having mis-barr offspring is greater? Does anyone breed mis-barred parent stock and get mostly perfect offspring? enviormental or genetic?

I have breed some sub standard maroons and they frequently mis bar, i think there is a huge environemntal component possibly water quality.
