View Full Version : what can i use to entice a juvenile scopion fish to eat?

i tried guppies,live brine,frozzen mysis,grindle worms, and shredded krill. he is about an inch long. very small but hasnt been eating that i see. any thoughts?

You could try soaking your food in Entice, an appitite stimulant.
I would try Krill and Silverside pieces.

Something else you can try is to take and run a piece of monofilament, just through the food so that you can play the frozen food, give it some motion, to entice the fish to eat, but then still be able to pull the mono back out, after the fish engulfs it.

i shut down my power heads so they dont have to fight the current. i have a fuzzy dwarf and a Rhinocep(sp?) scorpion fish

If you try the Live ghost shrimp make sure you feed the ghost shrimp first with something nutritional like flake food, cyclopezee or some type of pellets.
