I currently have a Flagfin angel, coral beauty, and a sixline wrasse. I am currently going to add two orchid dottybacks and a female bluethroat trigger. Do you think one or two chalk bass would be ok in this setup?

A bluethroat will eventually (quickly) outgrow a 75g, and will be a risk for attacking small, peaceful fishes when cramped in a tank that's too small (including a chalk bass).

I don't think the chalk bass would cause any trouble, but it might get beaten up by the 6-line and the dottyback.

Also, is there a reason you want two dottybacks? There's a reasonable chance you'll end up with one dead dottyback; they can be very aggressive, especially towards conspecifics and congeners.

well as far as the two dottybacks, i was going to purchase a mated pair. And dont the female bluethroats only get to a maximum of 6inchs? Plus they are pretty docile when it comes to triggers arent they?

I've seen females larger than that. While it's true that they are fairly docile, they can still get more pugnacious than expected if they start to feel cramped.
