Cramped LT Plate?

I have this LTP in my tank and it's doing great, maybe to great. It's gotten to the point now that when it expands it's starting to touch the glass.

It's in the widest sandy spot I have and seems happy (eats 2 times a week), but do you think it's gonna outgrow my tank?

I have a similar one that touches the glass. It doesn't seem to hurt it.

I looked up Heliofungia in Borneman's Coral Book. He says they can get to 20 inches in diameter. The one I have is probably around 6 or 7 inches.
