Hi looking for a recommendation for a fish to go along with a Lubboks wrasse, Royal Gramma. Something that will not nip coral polyps. Not looking for clowns have had plenty of them. Also no sand so no sand dwellers. Looking for uncommon fish, but not nec rare and expensive, just something not thought of that might compliment these two fish to complete my collection.
TIA.

How about a purple firefish or yellow clown goby?

Blennies are always good for small tanks and they have lots of personality.

No Blennies, they nip sps. Although they sure have personality. The firefish are awesome, but they are so shy and prone to jump. My tank is open topped.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks.

I like the Meiacanthus blennies and chalk bass. Nice colors and lots of swimming

Which species (for my own future reference)? I was unaware that coral tissue was even a part of their diet. Interesting.

Clown gobies are fun and would probably mix well with your fish. Mine is a little terror but my Lubbock's pays him no mind. They do perch on corals, but IME do no damage to 'LPS', zoas or softies. Not sure about keeping them with 'SPS', as in the wild they will strip sections of polyps (I believe to lay eggs).
Not sure if I'd put a hawk into a 30g with a gramma - I've got a little pixy in my 65g and not only does he zip from end to end and use every inch of space, but he packs a LOT of attitude. I was warned that adding a gramma to my 65g would not be wise, as the hawk would probably kill it.
