Bubble eye. Literally. Is this normal?

I have a tang the has bubble eye but I thought bubble eye is just swelling. This tang literally has several bubbles in his eye. It actually shines like a diamond. I think it started off small but now is multiplying. I counted 3 small bubbles and 1 big one. He is currently blind but I can see his eye ball still. Any thoughts? Thank all
