I like gobies, only down side I find is that they throw around alot of sand, which is good and bad. If you have alot of flow, might not be a great idea, but if your flow isn't to powerful, and that won't be a problem. Get one, they sure add character to a tank

I have read in several places that they can be somewhat detrimental to a DSB b/c they feed on the various organisms that you want to grow in your sand bed. I am not an expert so take my opinion lightly but I would suggest doing a lot of research on these fish to see if they are right for what you want to accomplish

some gobys eat your little critters in the sand bed and some just burrow in it. just make sure you know what they eat
