Looks like it to me. This pic was taken after a FW dip. Any thoughts on cures?http://reefcentral.com/gallery/data/500/96213P1010104.JPG

I have a clam that once had a pinched mantle. I gave mine a 30 minute fresh water dip and it went away a few days later.
How long did you fresh water dip it for?

I should have also asked how long ago you gave your clam the fw dip. I have seen clams recover from pinch mantle hours after the fw dip, and then again I have seen some clams recover after days. I would give it some time to see if it starts to turn around. It took my crocea a few days to recover after I gave it the dip.
The only reason I gave mine such a long FW dip was because I saw a presentation on clams were many people were giving them FW dips for that long, if not longer. I should also mention that after the long fw dips some of the clams did not make it.
I also had a clam that once got stung and it seemed like it had a pinched mantle. Do you have anything near the clam that may have stung it? (Mine got stung by a fungia. I have since replaced the fungia with another clam.)

Tyrosinase,
The picture was taken hours after the dip. Nothing is near the clam except for other clams. I should have stated earlier this clam has been in my system for about two weeks. I got in three one died and the other two have developed the p.m.
Thanks.

I lost 4 clams to PM recently. FW dips did nothing for any of them. Right now, there is nothing else you can do.

Thanks everyone. Today the clams look much better. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

When you pull a clam to do a dip I would take a tooth brush to the upper shell area to make sure there is no irritant attached there.
