I have the Kent and like it. Can't help on the comparison, cause I haven't used the other brand. It's a very simple design, so I guess they work the same.

I've got both. The TLF is definitely the better unit. I found the Kent unit extremely hard to open/close...and the plastic they used for the lid and fittings seems extremely fragile. I didn't like it so much I bought the TLF reactor to replace it with.

The TLF unit is the better built unit in my opinion and it also includes a ball valve that you will need to run the reactor.
