Attaching toadstool

I bought a tank that has 2 small taodstools "floating" in it. I mean that they are not attached to anything. One is about a 2" cap with healthy stalk that has accumulated crushed coral at its base. The other is very small, maybe a 1/2" cap. Can I just glue the crushed coral at the base to a rock? I see that in the previous threads people are stiching or banding their frags to rocks.

yes i use rubber bands for a few days-week, or you can use the gel type of super glue with no troubles

We put a toothpick through the toadstool/frag near the base and rubber band the toothpick to the rock. When it has attached, remove the rubber bands and toothpick.
