View Full Version : Update on availability of 36" T5?

Like the thread title says, any info on this? Really interested in getting a 36" light system. Have T5's on a larger tank and love them!

The 36" T5s were delayed a bit, but should be ready to ship ( hopefully ) by the end of next week / beginning of the week after. Pre-orders are still being accepted.

The 36" T5 Fixtures are finished and available for sale. We should be getting in the 39W T5s in very shortly.

We plan on stocking 39W Aquaz Sun Pro, Ocean Pro, and Blue Pro along with D&D Pure actinics. From time to time we will get in other manufacture T5s.

I would like to purchase the 36" unit with 3 bulbs on the white side and 2 bulbs on the actinic side.

From the new bulbs you'll be receiving what combos would you recommend?

For the actinic ill probably go 2 D&D actinic bulbs but for the 3 white bulbs what would be better for a dominantly SPS reef as far as coral growth is concerned.. 3 Sun Pros or 3 Ocean Pros?

I know the 11k Aquablue+ have had great results for everyone on the boards but both the sun and ocean have a similar wavelength as the aquablue with ocean pro a bit closer but also 20k rather than 10k.

sci33. For the 3 white bulbs I would go with 1 sun and 2 ocean ( or Aquablue+ ).

Yes, the holiday special is over. We did the holiday special to introduce the T5 fixtures and the new Aquaz lamps.

The 39W Aquaz lamps are now up on the site.
