Randy, I would like to raise my tank alk. to about 9-10 dKH. I'm using a calcium reactor with about 23 BPM, and a drip of about 50ml.min.

Water parameters:
tank ph 8.2
Alk 8 dKH
cal 440ppm
Eff.ph 7.1
sg 1.0235

Tell me what happens when...

1-adjust the Co2
2-Adjust the drip rate

I would raise the CO2 addition rate to about 28 bpm and see what happens. I wouldn't adjust the effluent rate unless the water coming out is already near the max in terms of alkalinity.
