Yea I also think that it is the Jewel Moray.... Muraena lentiginosa. From what I have read, it is a pretty mean eel.

definitely a jeweled moray. I had one for a long time. Mine was not overly aggressive. Great fish.

Definitely a jewel moray, sometimes called a Mexican dragon moray (not to be confused with the other dragon morays). This one is Muraena lentiginosa for sure. It's the most common moray in the Sea of Cortez area off the coast of Mexico.

Only gets 24", which makes him one of the best moray choices for an aquarium. I had one once. Nice fish. I'd say they are moderately aggressive on average, not too bad. There are a few very aggressive ones out there, but on the whole they are fairly well-behaved. Mine was fine.

Very good aquarium fish stays small (for an eel) adapts to frozen very well and non aggressive I've had mine for about a year now

Id say jeweled moray too..... but that would just be overkilling the point! I was going to get one until i heard some not so good stories about how they can attack smaller reef fish... so i decided against it. Maybe somewhere down the line. Its an absolutely beautiful eel though.
