I have never used this product before, and I'm not a big fan of adding things that are unnecessary to my tank, however, it sounds pretty safe. If you want to use it as a preventative, it won't hurt, but if your fish are sick, quarenteen is recommended.

Add nothing and save your $$$.
Garlic seems to be the only thing all reefers agree is OK to add.

Don't start using that garlic to quickly. Read this article by Steven Pro.
Garlic: What has been studied Versus What has been Claimed (http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2005-10/sp/index.php)

that med is certainly NOT safe. Right in the 2nd line it says. "Copper". . I would suppose this would be ok for a QT preventive treatment.

Actually, it says....
" Copper, chemical, and drug-free way to prevent disease in saltwater aquariums."
There is no copper in the medication.
But I still would rather not put anything in the tank.
