Ricordia info

I have had several ricordia (florida) in my tank for 4 months, and I added another one recently. The new one that I got expelled something about 3 weeks after I got it. I have heard of them expelling zoaxanthelle, and also some people saying they expel waste.

Any idea how to tell the difference, or any info about this would be of great help. Thanks

There is no differance, The waste is the extra zoaxanthelle. Totally normal.

Thanks Donavon, quick follow up question, do they normally remain partially closed after they do this?
