i have this coral frag and it was sold to me as a trumpet coral but when i search the web the trumpet corals always look a little different so i was wondering if it was something different so here is a pic of it with its tentacles out. (best pic i could get of it)

It is also called candy cane....I can't think of the scientific name but try searching candy cane coral..

caulastrea (sp?), candy cane, trumpet..........all the same thing and thats what you have

Yeah it is a candy cane, good luck with it, the skeleton looks to be receeding a bit from the pic, id watch out for it.

thanks i thought thats what it was but wasn't sure.
yeah it was like that when i bought it but since then it has grown back and is doing nicely. still only two polyps though
