Just wondering if anyone has any experience with the Hamilton Electronic Ballast. I am thinking about getting a Hamilton MH retrofit with their electronic ballasts but I really have not heard anything about their ballasts. Anyone have any info?

I have some of those and have been told they are similiar to the Icecap and the ARO ballasts. I did have one stop working and they sent me a new one under warranty. I hope someone else will add some info an this too.

The system comes standard with magnetic ballasts, but you can upgrade to electronic, if you go to Hamilton's web site they show all the options.

My Hamilton E-ballasts work great. No problems here. They are a bit bulky though. I bought the large housings that hold 2 each.

I have had mine ( 2 * 175 ) for just about 2 years now. I have never had a problem with it. Stays cool to the touch. The only issue ( and not the fault of the eballast ) is that my Reefkeeper 1 resets if I have the ballast pluged into it.
