Just got my LR in, 22 lbs of Fiji for my 20L! The worst part is I need to wait for the rock to cure, and the tank to cycle.
Are 3 Maxi Jet 1200s, and a Remora Protein skimmer enough for the curing process? Once it is cured I will take the 3 maxi jets out and use a lower (maby 900) for flow. (should see my tank now with the MaxiJets in it, almost like a rip tide!)
Also is there a way to speed up the curing process? I was thinking of taping a garbage bag around the tank to black it out so that nothing can grow.
How is this for a setup:
Since I got 22Lbs, barely enough for a 20L, think I should build the LR on 1 side, and leave sand on the other? Make it maby half and half? On the sand side maby put nuisance corals on there own island so they cant take the tank over (Xenia, etc..).
I got weird rock this time, not like any Fiji I saw, it almost looks like Lincoln Logs glued in a pile, actually looks neat, lots of places to put corals.
