Can someone please let me know in their opinion is the best sea salt for a Reef system??

tropic marin if u have the money. IO works fine for me.

Agreed. If I was spending someone else's money, I'd buy Tropic Marin. Since I have to spend mine, I use IO.

i've used tropic marin for the past couple of months but i see everytime i test Mg after a waterchange its always WELL below the required levels......

Catalina water. $9 bucks for 5 gallons at petco, but you just pour and go, thats it!

That "pour and go" mentality can get you in trouble. You should be testing Catalina water each time you use it, and make any adjustments necessary before adding it to your tank. Just because it is NSW doesn't make it perfect. There can be differences in just about all params from batch to batch, just like synthetic.
