These 3 snails cruise my hubby's 55g tank. Can anyone give me a positive ID on them? The shelled snails both currently have about 1 inch shells.

#1 - I have no idea...

#2 - Appears to be a whelk (snail-eater) of some type

#3 - Looks like a Stomatella varia. Awesome little herbivore that breeds like happy rabbits.

Snails are usually identified by their aperture (among other things) and place of origin. There are very little experts here that have the literature and expertise to do so.
