Hi all,
I use the two part B-Ionic Cal./Alk. additive every day and I love it. Do they make a dosing system for this and has anyone used it?
Thanks Dave

Slightly off topic, but you can save yourself some money by making your own 2-part from scratch. Very simple, makes alot, more concentrated, cheaper.

Just check out Randy's recipe in reef chemistry forum.

dave - one way to do it fairly cheaply is to get those kent dosing/drip bottles - holds 1400mL - you would have to get one for each component - I think that ESV makes a dosing system for it but it is with pumps and is a lot more expensive - check marine depot for both

Thanks dolt,
It,s really about timing. I dose in the am before work. I would like it to be automatic, with the two part you have to put in part A and wait then put in part B
So I was thinking of something with a timer??

Digger Dave-----I agree with DC. I use the B-Ionic right now and you can find the dosing system made for it here - http://www.seaquestmarine.com/product_esv_doser.htm

I use it with a minute timer from Pet Smart and a pump. It blows every morning at 10Am. I know it is expensive which is why I posted the DIY link as well.

Personally 30/per every 5 weeks is nothing for me, especially when it makes it so easy.

this is the DIY link for anyone http://www.esvco.com/prod9.html
