expanded pvc safe for internal overflow?

Has anyone heard of this stuff? If so would it be safe to use as an overflow? any info would be great.

I wouldn't trust it, based on just that one link.

Traditional pvc, acrylic, and poly plastics are proven safe and can be found in sheets as well.
