I have a frogspawn i would like to frag, it has multiple branchs. I know all you have to do it break the branches, but the problem is that there is flesh connecting the branches. Is it safe to cut the flesh and then break the skeleton? If so whats the safest way?
thanks

heres a pic of it, its the "white" flesh on the outside of each branch that connects them is the problem. I dont want to make big frags just frags of 1 or 2 heads. So how can i frag thru this flesh?

Below the white "fleshy" part, you can break or cut. On thicker pieces i have used a new (rinsed with RO/DI) hacksaw blade, cuts through it nicely.

Normally, you cut below the white flesh.
What I usually do it wait for the branch to grow longer so I can cut where I want with a dremel.

You would have to use a rotorsaw with a cutoff wheel on the old growth skeleton (under the white areas). Score the skeleton there and snap off sections from underneath. I see about 6 really good frags here if you do it right.

I simply use a pair of pliers (with sharp tips), grab the brown skeleton part (lower the better) and snap. breaks off like a kit kat in 2 secs.
