Hi everone
What would you recomend for a 20L tank?

Was looking at the coralife 2x65W PC fixture or two coralife 2x18W T5 fixtures?

Anyone have a thought. Looking to keep a varity or corals. Do looking for the best over all one.

Thanks

you don't want the T-5 18watters, you want the 24 watter HO (hight output). I believe the 18w are NO (NORMAL OUTPUT) I have the coralife 130w 24 inch with moonlights and it has been great, had it over a year and a half with no problems. I am getting ready to upgrade my lights to T-5. It really depends on what type of coral you want to keep, My zoos, LPS, xenia all thrive under my PC's and on a 20L they would be even closer to the light. I think if you are on a budget you can use the PC's, if not go T-5 HIGH OUTPUT, NOT NORMAL...

2x18?

that must be non HO t5. i would say 2or3x24 t5ho with good reflctors( read unless you get a tek light; get tek, aqualux or icecap reflectors..)would do well on that 20L.

that said, t5 ho with good reflectors will always beat a pc setup as far as light output, and the wattage used by the t5 etup will be a lot less as well. also, the bulbs will last longer for t5ho than PC..
