i doubt it has individual parabolic reflectors....

so, depending on what you want in your tank, it may not be enough.

any other shots of it?

So what does Individual Parabolic reflectors exactly do compared to what any other option thats out there?

they make each individual t-5 bulb shoot far more light downwards- it basically turns each t-5 into a metal halide with its own reflector.

Ahh so then I see why if im going to spend the money on a t-5 why some are alot more expensive than others. I bet the more expensive ones have the individual reflectors. And are well worth it. Im assuming after hearing so much of the Sun Tex T-5, that they have the individual reflrectors?

if you are referring to the tek lights, yhen yes, they have individual tek reflectors for each bulb.

check out aquatinics. they are a sponsor on this site, and they make quality t5 units. but i think they are the same price as the tek is. there are 2 types of tek fixtures. the fully finished one, and then there is the bare bones one that is used for greenhouses and such. its much cheaper, and has the same guts as the tek light
