Hi Shark

Perhaps made a new tread about this `?

The T5 was 54 Watt and its not possible to overdrive them with 85 Watt Ballast or something else.

No we use an oroginal german ballast for T5 and 54 Watt ;-)

Hi Claude,

What I would like to know is where we can buy and when? I also wanted to know what you suggested as far as t5's for 75gal softy/mix tank. I was really impressed with your presentation and knowledge at the CTARS meeting as well as your discussion about t5's in between. Any input on this would be great!

The tank is 75gal 48x18x20. At this time I would have mostly softies Zoos, frogspawn and the likes but would like to have options for some of the other light intensive variety of corals.

75 gallon means raund about 300 Liter :D :D :D :D

Ok and 48 x 18 x 20 means length x width x high of the tank ?

125 x 46 x 50 cm ???

So if this is correct so you need 4 x 54 Watt T5 x 2 Dopple bars
and use 3 x Aquascience or Giesemann Powerchrome 15.000 K and one 22.000 K blue T5 Tube

If you want to take mor SPS you can made also 6 x T5 with special deep Reflectors like you see at the meeting

Claude, are the Aquascience and Geisemann 15K bulbs the same? Are these bluer than the ATI Aquablue (11k) bulbs?
