how high does everyone keep there water level in there overflows mine is about 2 inches from the top and i am still getting spitting on to my canopy and what not ,,any ideals shoudl i raise my durso another inch ,,

Mine is about even with my water level, maybe a 1/4-1/2 an inch lower. I am using a Durso standpipe in mine.

thanks i will riase mine up about 1.5 inches i am using a durso as well ,,

www.dursostandpipes.com Richard explains it better than I do. I think he calls for it to be lower than mine actually, but my flow rate is very low so it is not as crucial.

You might want to look at that because he talks about surface film and what not. I have Seio's aimed directly at the surface of the water, so this isn't an issue for me. I am only flowing about 400gph through my 1.5 inch drain.

You have to have it lower than the display level or surface skimming wont work. Just below the bottom of the teeth or lower is good.

i have it right at 2 inches bellow the teeth right now and i am getting spitting ,,i run 1000 gallons an hour through my overflow and i have 2 tunzes 6060 running in the tank ,,

I'd just raise it an inch and see what happens, as long as you are below the teeth, its not goint to hamper the operation.
