Fuge setup

I'm putting togeather a fuge. What should I put in it? DSB (if so how deep)and LR (how much). Will have some macro. Would like to put mangroves in also. Fuge will be sitting next to display tank so want it to be interesting to look at as well as functional. Any ideas welcomed.

IMO the fuge size is pertinent (not that I have any idea what mangroves need)

mangroves need lots of space for thier roots ..........and when constricted i have seen the roots actually crack/shatter/break the fuge they were in. thier roots are like trees. and as some of us who have had roots break pipes know, roots are strong! at least these type are very very strong! do research before you do this mangroove thing.

ideally a single mangrove should have a huge bucket for root growth and even that may get out grown.
