PVC Question

Hello All:

I just received my Artica 1/10 chilller and Mag Force 500 pump and need some advise regarding set-up. The mag force pump will be set-up inline however it did not include the 1/2" hose connectors that are required to connect it to the chiller "hose."

Will any PVC connector suffice? Can I purchase them from the plumbing department of my local home improvement store, or do I need "fish-safe" plastic? Is vinyl a good alternative?

I plan to keep a reef tank and I am concerned with using connectors that my be harmful to my fish and coral.

Any of the plastic fittings you would purchase at the home improvement type store will be safe to use.

geo is correct.no metal or brass,copper just plastic.
