Remora with Maxjet 1200 Question

I am planning to get hob skimmer. And I was just wondering if Remora fits back compartment of 12G Nanocube (top is open, I am not using the hood). I guess it's all depend of the size of the pump, Maxjet 1200.

Can anyone tell me exact size of Maxjet 1200?

is it glass or acrylic? if its acrylic it depends on how big the edge of the tank to the opening is or ( the lip ) if its glass then it will fit fine. The maxijet isnt that big so no worries.

Do you think the pump will go into 2.5" x 3.5"?

If it is a JBJ Nano the skimmer will NOT fit into the back compartment.... not wide enough/tall enough.

The skimmer would have to hang on the back of the aquarium.

The skimmer dimensions are approx. 6"x3.5"x18"

I have one on a 29 gal.....great skimmer for a small tank though

I have a remora with a maxijet 1200
(but it's on a 33 gal tank)
The maxijet 1200 is about 3x3x4 counting the suction cup thing
The remora is about 3 inches thick, about 7 inches wide, but it's about 16 inches tall so you're going to have a lot sticking up from the top of your nano
