Which of these 2 skimmers should I get for my 180g?

Tough choice. The gate vales on the GEO makes it easier to adjust and control while the AquaBee pump from the one skimmer is reputably the better pump.


Either one will be good skimmer IMO although the GEO has a larger reaction chamber which technically means longer contact time and better skimming.

I don't have any experience w/ GEO. I have heard good things though. I do have 2 H&S skimmers though (A110 F2000 & A200 2x1260). I bought my 2x1260 through Madison (piece of reef) and my A110 through Brian (Fins Reef). You will have a hard time finding better service or product support than these two. The H&S IMO has to be the best skimmer for the money. These things just flat perform. I love mine and have never regreted buying them.

nikonsis H&S are great skimmers and have an awesome pump but i also hear good things about Geo, that said though, I would get the H&S

Go with the Aquabee. Buy a Deltec. ;)
